

The Mount Desert Island YMCA is an inclusive, vibrant, multi-generational center, elevating our community's quality of life.
We have a vibrant group exercise class schedule with classes ranging from early morning to evening to meet your needs. Our program guide is the most up to date place to find out the days and times of our current classes.

Evidence-based Health Initiatives: We are currently offering EnhanceFitness, Better Balance, and Parkinson's Disease Exercise Program.
​
Spaces: We use our gymnasium and multi-purpose room for fitness classes. The front desk staff can help you find the spaces when you come into the Y.
​
Group Cycle: We have year-round group cycle classes in our multi-purpose room on our Kiser bikes. If you want to be in shape to bike in Acadia National Park, you should in classes at the Y!
​
Branded Classes: We offer TRX Pro Coaching in small groups as well as Zumba and Group Power.
​
Mind-Body Classes: We have various types of yoga, including chair yoga, as well as Tai Chi in our class lineup.
