Registration Opens in March!

The Mount Desert Island YMCA has a long tradition of holding events in Acadia National Park to support our mission. Join us for our first ever Echo Lake Sunrise Swim this July!

 

Starting from the sand at Echo Lake Beach, participants can choose a 500m or 1 mile out and back course along the Beech Cliffs, as the rising sun crests over the mountains.

Minimum Age for the 1 mile: 16yrs

Minimum Age for the 500m: 10yrs

All racers receive a swim cap and the opportunity to race in Acadia National Park.​ All finishers will receive a shirt.

​

**There is no race day registration and our race is capped by the National Park.

 

**All participants over 17 years old are required to have a National Park Pass.**
