The MDI YMCA has a long-running, successful recreational rhythmic gymnastics team.

This is a fun group that meets once or twice a week, depending on age group and experience level throughout the school year. 

Our recreational team ranges in age from children in kindergarten through grade 6. 

Rhymic Gymnastics enhances children's gross and fine motor coordination, body awareness, and is both a physical and social/emotional benefit for children involved.
