Group Exercise Classes
Our Y offers group fitness classes that meet every level, every schedule, and every goal. Classes are included with Y membership and members may attend as many classes as they wish. Class times and instructors are subject to change.
Tabata is a series of exercise moves with a 30 minute HIIT style regime. We repeat the moves in a series of rounds with a 60 second break between rounds! Expect to get hot & sweaty in this class. Modifications are available

In Person: MDI YMCA Parking Lot per Maine CDC guidelines
A 60 minute class focusing on glute activation & developing inner core strength! This class rolls through a series of exercises that target and focus on growing and developing the muscles of the glutes and core. We will be using resistance loops in this class. The loops are limited so if you'd like to you can purchase and bring your own resistance loops. This class involves moving from standing to lying positions frequently. Modifications are available.
Booty and Core
Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
