Summer Day Camp
CREATING LIFELONG MEMORIES
Camp is full of fun, friendship and discovery. Children develop strong relationships while enjoying activities like swimming, crafts, sports and more. Day camp at the Y is offered on location at the Mount Desert Island YMCA. Field trips into Acadia National Park happen at least once a week if not more. Due to coronavirus restrictions, Camp Cadillac will be implementing smaller group sizes for 2020. CAMP CADILLAC
Camp Cadillac is one of the premier day camps on Mount Desert Island. Each day is an adventure for our campers, with many excursions into Acadia National Park. Every week campers enjoy field trips, games, arts and crafts. Reserve your child's spot early! If you register online or over the phone, be sure to send in your registration form to 21 Park Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 or email it to childcare@mdiymca.org.
SPECIALTY CAMPS
The Mount Desert Island YMCA offers Specialty Camps for those kids who want the summer camp experience while only focusing on what they like best. From swimming camps to hiking camps, the MDI YMCA offers a wide range of activities that engages and encourages your child to build a healthy lifestyle and to take care of the people and world around them.

GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Begins: June 15, 2020
Camp Ends: August 21, 2020
Camp Fees for Campers: MDI Y Member $210/week
Non Member $230/week
Nonrefundable $50 deposit/week due at time of registration.
Camp Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Age groups determined by what grade your child will enter in Fall 2020.

Scholarships are available to all who need them. The MDI YMCA strives to ensure that all children get the camp experience they want regardless of their family's ability to pay.
You can apply for Membership and Program Scholarships at the same time or you can apply for Program Scholarships without membership, the process is almost the same.
1. Bring your most recent 1040 tax form to the Y. (If you do not file, we will ask you for a Social Security or Disability Statement).
2. Complete a short MFA/Programs Scholarship Application and we will find the membership and/or program rate that works for you.
3. (Membership Addition) If you're applying for a Membership and Program Scholarship fill out a Membership Application.
4. Fill out your child's Camp Cadillac Registration/Waiver form.
5. Turn in all the above documents. We cannot process your request until we have all the documents in hand.
We strive to have the scholarships processed and applied within a week, however, the sooner you get your application in the better.
For Membership/Program Scholarships drop off/email all documents to Bob Huff, Membership Director.
For Program Scholarships only, drop off/email all documents to Jared Erskine, Youth Development Director.
