Y water exercise classes
These classes have it all! Gain muscle conditioning and cardiovascular endurance from the aeorobic choreography and the resistance of the water. It's a great workout without any impact or harmful effects on joints/muscles, and a great way to beat the heat! Ideal for all fitness levels, non-swimmers included.

Adult Swim Lessons
We want to help you gain self confidence!  The Y offers beginner classes for adults who have never learned to swim, have fear issues, or want to 'take it from the beginning.' Focus of class is on the basics of moving, body position, breath control, and basic strokes. We also have advanced and stroke work classes, for those who want to tune up on basic strokes like the front crawl, breast stroke, back stroke, etc. Are you self taught? Training for a triathlon and swimming is your weak link? This is a great class for you!
