Let us offer a safe place for your children to play and unwind after a busy day at school. We provide a daily, healthy snack and weather dependent indoor/outdoor play. If your child participates in other Y programs, we’ll make sure he or she arrives at the right program at the right time. A MDI YMCA Membership is required. This is a State Licensed, Fully Supervised Child Care Program.

After School Payment Information
For your convenience, payments are accepted by weekly auto-draft only. We accept Visa or MasterCard (Credit or Debit) as well as checking or savings accounts. Due at the time of sign up is first week’s fee and last week’s fee. The After School Program has to maintain proper staff ratios throughout the school year. Consequently auto-draft will occur whether the child is in attendance or not. A two week written notice is required for changes or cancellations to the childcare program.
Weekly Auto-Draft Fee For Fall 2015 to Spring 2016: $70
Bonus: The After School Weekly Fee includes Teacher In-Service Days, Parent-Teacher Conference Days, Early Release Days and Five Snow Days!* *Days that have been established into the school year as of 8/1/15.
Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 3:15pm - 5:30pm.
Children from Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Elementary schools are transported to the program from school by YMCA bus and school bus free of charge.
